We have the pleasure in providing you with some information regarding Our Guest House. First of all we pride ourselves on offering you a 4-Star establishment at three star rates with service standards that simply make your life easier.
Mia’s Nest Guest House is conveniently situated in Glen Austin, Midrand, and just +/- 10 kilometres from Midrand CBD, set in tranquil country surroundings. This unique Guest House and Conference Centre appeals to business travellers alike.
Mia’s Nest Guest House - All our rooms offer the facilities you would expect from a 4-Star Guest House such as en-suite bathroom, TV (SABC
1,2,3; E TV), Tea and coffee making facilities, Hairdryer, Mini Safe, Ceiling fan, Wall mounted heater, Electric blanket, Alarm clock, Desk to study/work and Whole the rooms are NON Smoking. Also we can offer Laundry, Ironing and Dry Cleaning service, Internet 24/7, Photocopies, Faxes and Printing facilities. Also a mini Gym for your convenience.
All our rooms are air conditioned.
Dinner; is an exciting three course set menu of the day. It is our aim to provide a good home cooked meal in the way which we know best (Mia’s cooking). Juices will be provided at dinner at no cost. The Dinner will be served from 18:30 to 19:30. The kitchen will close at 19:30 sharp.
Breakfast; will be ready and served from 06:30 to 08:00. It is a full English breakfast
Transport; to and from Midrand (CBD) it is available at R25.00
for Corporate or SBL students (R50 p/day. We will drop the Guest/s at your Company door step at 07:30 / 08:00am and collect the Guest at 16:30 to 17:00pm. To and from Airport (JHB International), JHB City or Shopping Mall, shuttle is available at R250.00 for the first guest and R50.00 for any additional passenger.
If the Guest/s request to use the shuttle to go anywhere else outside the Midrand area, the same fee of R250.00 will be applied.
Unfortunately we do request a Deposit of 50% of the total accommodation before the arrival of your Delegates.
Pro-forma Invoice and Bank details it will be supplied on request.

Additional Information for Students of SBL (Unisa - Midrand)
Transport; to and from UNISA - SBL – Midrand (CBD) it is available at R25.00 per person per trip (R50.00 per day). We will drop the Guest/s at SBL at 07:30 / 08:00am and collect them at 17:45 / 18:00pm. To and from Airport (JHB International), JHB City or Shopping Mall, shuttle is available at R250.00 per person per trip.
If the Guest/s request to use the shuttle to go anywhere else outside the Midrand (CBD) area, the same fee of R250.00 will be applied.
We do request a deposit of 50% to confirm the booking at least a week before your arrival, and the other 50% to be payable on arrival (cash). Any extras to be settled day before departure.
Proforma Invoice and Bank details it will be supplied on request. Once the Deposit as been made, PLEASE fax to us the Deposit Slip urgently to secure your booking. If the Deposit is not in the account we supplied to you at least five days before your arrival, the booking it will be considered NULL & VOID.
